This vintage bicycle poster is an excellent stylized image of a daily bike race in Paris. This an extremely rare Vintage poster. Notice the solid green on the trees. They really contrast the deep red lettering.
What I really find interesting on this rare poster is the perspective created by the green trees. Doesn't it remind you of Cassandre's Route Bleue poster? This neat angle wasn't very common in its time period which is what makes this poster different from others of its time. Also notice the three lonely shadows cast by the riders. The riders themselves are very stylized. They give this bicycle poster personality since you cannot see much of the bikes but the handlebars and tires. Overall I think people who appreciate impressionistic artwork will enjoy this peice in their home.
