This is no doubt because the company wanted to show that they were responsible and that the factory was a good size and in excellent condition, well maintained. This is unusual for French Bicycle Posters of the 1880's and 1890's. Ordinarily, only American Bicycle Posters displayed the factories freely on their posters.
This Vintage Poster is cute. The yellow dress contrasts the womans skin nicely. I wonder if the model was actually that beautiful? Notice how her arm leads your eyes to the clovers, which actually point toward the bicycle. This is a common method used in commercial posters of all kinds.
